Here is my tutorial on how to pair an APS-C sensor monochromatic astrophotography camera with a popular DSLR lens for widefield astrophotography.
I spend weeks trying to figure this out, and there was no obvious solution. I was being given advice that involved swapping out considerable amount of gear for a more expensive solution, or downgrading my automated setup. Finally found a solution buried in Cloudy Nights.
