Strawberry Supermoon over Lake Ontario

Next time I show up not *at* moonrise, pelting madly across the sand tripod in tow, but in a civilized way a half hour before. (To be fair I was on a much-awaited call with a buddy). Deal with all the wobblings of telephoto lens on ballhead adaptors, and screws that wobbled when I decided to rotate the setup to take a portrait instead of landscape.

There were water birds about, making their way across the moonlit lake… Need better PS compositing skills to capture the broader scene. It was lovely.

Olympus EM1-MIII.
100-400mm @ 213mm, f/11, 0.6s, manual focus on moon edge.
EDIT: ISO 400 and the lens was on a Sirui ballhead adaptor.
