Northern Lights, Andromeda, and Meteor in One Shot

3-for-1: Andromeda Galaxy AND meteor photobomb Aurora.
From Thursday night’s Great Aurora.
The shot: 11:58pm, Thurs Oct 10 2024.

I was trying to take a timelapse of the Corona, and while looking at the shots I noticed that:

1. Andromeda was in view at the zenith throughout the timelapse, and

2. A meteor photobombed one of the shots. (Actually I have one other shot with a meteor in it).

For the tech geeks: I had 301 shots with Andromeda in the timelapse, so I stacked them and blended the integrated galaxy with the single shot with the Aurora & the meteor. The original, unprocessed single shot is in the comments. I spent way, WAY too much time putting this together…meditative work is the best.
