Homemade jig for cutting fabric ties

We made this simple jig to speed up cutting of many fabric ties for face masks ? (We cut four 18″ pieces of twill tape per mask). Works really well.

It’s a piece of wood with two nails 18″ apart. Knot twill tape on one end, and just wind around and around. Finally cut. ??

I simply cut with the electric rotary cutter (Vrr! Vrr! ?).

But even if you make fewer loops and cut with good fabric scissors, saves time on not having to measure each tie. ?

(So. Tedious!)
